Costs

Options for training
Code 95 is a sign on a driving license that you have completed the requirements for training to drive trucks and buses professionally. It is a requirement that you must fulfill every five years to renew your work license. The regular training is 35 hours of training and can be completed at a driving school or at home (e-learning). Code 95 training is divided into two types: the long and short courses. The long course lasts for about four weeks, and it concludes with a government exam. After passing the exam, you will receive an ID card made of plastic. The card must be submitted into the database of unified European certificates. The school where you studied will then submit the card to the database. The card will be processed within 14 days.
The long course costs around 2,000 PLN and the exam costs 300 PLN. You will also have pay a fee to the school to submit your certificate to the unifying European database. After the card is created, you can pick it up from the school.
As a trainer, you must follow certain guidelines to be able to give a class that meets Code 95. First you must submit a training program to the CBR. This plan must be approved by the CBR before classes begin. You must also follow a number of other strict rules during the training.
After you have successfully completed the course, you will be awarded a certificate of ongoing training from the CBR. You can then send this to the RDW. You will then be able renew your license with the municipality after you have submitted your application successfully. Exams
You must pass both the theory and practical tests to get the code 95 on your license. To operate a truck, you need the driver's licence C. This is the most extensive driver's license in Europe. In the Netherlands, the requirement is that you pass the initial qualification for professional drivers at the Central Office for Motor Vehicle Driver Testing (Centraal Bureau Rijvaardigheidsbewijzen, or CBR, in Dutch). You also must pass an examination for medical reasons.
